I slacked the whole day after returning from giving tuition. I was surprised to see the exam timetable for my tuition kid. His exams are like next week? How come exams for primary school students are getting earlier and earlier. I am worried for him because his level of english is like perpetually lousy. I told him a million times since he was primary 2 "When and Went is different word. Then and than is different word." Forever, his composition he committs the same old mistake. Whats wrong?? Any fellow tutors can tell me how to teach this dumbo? Methods I tried:

1. Copy when and went one hundred times.
2. Write 20 sentences for each word.
3. At the start fo every lesson tell me how to use when and went, then and than. Sometimes, a sentence is demanded from me.
4. Rewrite one whole essay twenty times and make sure that when and went, then and than are used correctly.
5. Asking him to make a sentence using when and went, then and than suddenly in the middle of the lesson.
6. Using the context of his favourite cartoon - Pokemon to make sentences using when and went, then and than hoping that he will understand.

Any more methods? I think I make a lousy tutor man. So many methods all don't work! Don't work! Sucks man. There are many many more things that he just cannot remember since primary 2 until NOW! He is now primary 4! Haiz. Now I understand why last time, teachers in school flare at stupid students who just cannot remember stuff. Its the same feeling that I am experiencing now. You are at wits end. You just want them to remember but they just cannot remember! Cannot means cannot. Like seriously... So when you realized that his brain is like not functioning well you get angry and you start yelling like as though you just escaped from woodbridge and the kid will cry. Now it seems like the adult is bullying a kid.

Okie... Enough about tuition. I just can't teach! I am stressed about everything. I bought a Levi Strauss Signature Blue Gene. I don't know why I bought such cheapo stuff but I just thought it was decent looking and had a great cut. Haha... Guess when stress is acting on me, I will start buying things randomly. Anyhows, I needed a pair of jeans mahz. So yeah... Cheap good purchase. =]

So sianz... Sch starts tomorrow! Recess week zoomed pass just like that. Okie... Everybody jiayou! We can do it. =]
