Today went for TPJC Band Concert. Haha... Its like in TPJC itself... At first I thought it probably is some small informal concert but it turns out that it is their annual concert - Reminiscence '07. Omg lahz. Its so shabby... The reportiore is like some scraps of photocopied paper. What happened man? In my era, our Reminiscence concert was like some big affair in VCH where the set up was grand and the reportiore is in full colour. But then I thought to myself maybe they will play some really good challenging pieces like how my batch tried a high grade piece Carmina Burana and everyone said it was very well played.

I opened the flimsy reportiore and saw okie pieces which in my opinion are lacking in standard for a college band man. But then again I thought well simple pieces can be difficult to play it well and nice also. So I awaited for the show to start.

Okie... When the first note is played, clearly the band's standard have really dropped quite alot. Intonation, dynamics, musciality is not as good as ever. When they played Mononoke Hime and First Suite in Eb I was like... oh man... some parts are like not even on time...Especially the 6/8 parts... But I think they did a good job for Pirates of the Caribbean. Haha... Oppz... =X I shouldn't criticise so much.
