Formal wear to school today for AB228A. Haha... Interesting lesson. We learnt how to tuck in our shirt properly. Lots of things about formal wear. Now I find wearing formal wear so fun... No more a dread... I was telling Mindy that wearing the formal outfit makes you look so pro on the train and on the streets as you walk with little click clock noises from leather shoes and for ladies the heels. It gives you the feeling of going to work in shenton way or raffles place where people walk through the underpass from the mrt to the exit that leads them to their offices. Don't we feel excited about being one of the pro looking working class in the future? I bet most people won't feel like I do but I definitely look forward to entering the workforce. No more mudane school work where what you learnt doesn't necessarily come in use in the society, BUT a highly competitive and stressful environment where you are put under pressure to learn the way things really work in the society. The crazy weather these days are driving my sweat glands crazy. One minute it is extreme heat and the other minute it is extreme humidity. I am sweating like mad as I walk from one point to another. Its irritating. So I decided to cut short my hair. Long or mid length hair are hard to maintain especially when you sweat so easily and you go swimming so often. So... Yes... Snip off those excess hair... I want thin layered hair that doesn't touch my ears. Cooling and easy to style. Haha... Yeah... So I went Chapter 2 in Marina Square. The stylist is pro - damn good service. Its the best hair wash I ever experienced so far. Its really comfortable as she really massage your head or scalp really well. She explains how she is going to cut and style your hair before she actually wield her scissors. She gives suggestions on the type of hairstyle that flatters your face taking into consideration your requirements. Her name is Sherlin Yap. Its not that the other stylists I have encountered never do such things but this stylist is just different in terms of her service. Some stylist just follow your instructions, some stylist don't give good hair wash - just spray water shampoo press press your head then okie le. There hasn't been one that gives a good complete service like Sherlin does. So... Yeah... She is good!!! =] I love my new hairstyle... actually not much of a difference except that it is a little shorter on the sides and the top is very much thinner with more layers. Thats all... Mugging time... =]
