Tuition in the morning... After that went to colour and highlight my hair. I must be mad... Don't know why suddenly I go and colour and highlight. The colour is too light... Looks weird. Nvm... Hair grows fast. Haha... Got nothing to blog liaoz... I found this somewhere... So tada... Put here... 哭腔 (kū qiāng): A 'crying' tone in your voice when you sing. Iconic representatives: Jacky Cheung, Emil Chau Suggestion: Use sparingly, because the technique backfires when overused. 摔音 (shuăi yīn): Tremolo (a tremor in your voice), or a fast vibrato (a musical effect produced in singing by a regular, pulsating change of pitch). Iconic representatives: Fei Yu Qing, Phil Chang Yu 假音 (jiă yīn): Falsetto (the technique of using a 'false' voice that is pitched higher than a singer's normal singing range to hit notes beyond their normal range). Iconic representatives: Wang Lee Hom, Jay Chou, David Tao 虚音(xū yīn): Breathy voice. Iconic representatives: Valen Hsu 扁音(biăn yīn): A flat tone. Sidenote: This is not a compliment. 节奏(jié zòu): Tempo (speed or pace of the music). Usually described as fast or slow. 音色(yīn sè): Tone quality of your voice, or timbre. Usually described as bright or dark. Iconic representatives (dark): Karen Mok, Andy Lau Iconic representatives (bright): Gigi Leung, JJ Lin 转音(zhuăn yīn): A trill or a slurred note, when you have a few notes tied in together and they sound very fast 拍子(pāi zi): Beat, pulse of the music. 音调(yīn diào): Key that the music is set in. E.g C major, F major. 头音(tóu yīn): Head voice, or head register, or head tone. It describes a vocal placement in singing where vibrations are felt in the head when the note, which is in the higher range of the voice, is sung. The other vocal placements include chest, throat and nasal. 音量(yīn liàng): Dynamics (volume) 音乐感(yīn yuè găn): Musicality, or how you 'shape' a piece of music. (音高) 偏高 (piān gāo): Sharp. The term is used to describe a pitching problem caused by singing slightly above the intended note, resulting in an inaccurate pitch. (音高) 偏低 (piān dī): Flat. The term is used to describe a pitching problem caused by singing slightly below the intended note, resulting in an inaccurate pitch.
