Just came back from a seminar which Abner asked me to go. Haha... Saw Gary there... The world is so small. Haha... Anyway, Nanz Chong was the guest speaker. Haha... She is the boss of the One99 shop which collapse and gone bankrupt. She is hell of a good presenter - ultra engaging, entertaining and humourous. Haha... As she was talking, Abner and me started to discuss why the One99 shop failed. Haha... Because they sold the wrong things. Example, handbags at $1.99? Nobody will buy it. People may perceive the cheap price as an indicator of lousy quality. So, the price and the product is a mismatch, hence, the failure. Haha... Reason why it started off and sustained for 5 years - It started out selling products that fit the price of $1.99 e.g. necessities and products which took up a small budget share of consumers. So, people see the price point differentiation between a $2.00 packet of large twisters against the price of $1.99 for the same product. Hey it is cheaper!! Hence, the success. Haha...

Dinner at crystal jade... Haha... It was closing, everything like sold out. Roasted duck - No more, roasted chicken - No more... Okie... I didn't know Abner eat so much lahz. After seeing his eating habits, I think I know why I am thin. I am like not eating enough!!! Took mrt home with Gary. Haha... It has been such a long time since we last talked. We had so much to talk about...
