Its sunday and I finally found time to blog. Haha. Gotta announce my results. Yay!! I did very well - 2A, 1A- and 1B, average GPA 4.5. If not for the B, I would have gotten a much better GPA, or otherwise known as CAP in NUS. Nevertheless, 4.5 is good enough for many people including myself. Haha. Okie, I think I am damn hao lian already. Better stop...

Life after I left work was kinda boring. Stayed at home most of the time to rot, except for yesterday, went to give tuition. The kid was beyond hope and its not because he is stupid but because he is too smart for his own good. He has an attitude so bad that it is getting so difficult to educate or motivate him. I must say that attitude towards work just reveals how kids are brought up these days. Parents are disciplining their kids in the wrong way. The old style of being strict and stern to their own children no longer work, but instead backfire. Their children becomes more and more rebellious and gets out of hand at the slightest reprimand. Neither do being extra nice to a kid works. The latter yields a kid that grows up pampered and spoilt thinking that all of their whims and fancies will be fulfilled at the snap of their fingers or at a wink of their eyes.

In this modern society, where technology is advancing in an unprecedented speed, it is no wonder kids have turned out to be like this as they are exposed to the wrong things at the wrong age. Parents need to spend more time monitoring their children and explaining to them the true meaning of the things their children are exposed to, otherwise no amount of extra piano or violin lessons or tuition can help these children and their attitude.
